Our first time at the Sovereign Center, in Reading Pa., just couldn't have been better. First was dinner at The Ugly Oyster, where while wating in line we ran into Misty from Gigtours, out of Nashville, Tn. They weren't on a tour, but there enjoying the concert, and dinner at The Ugly Oyster. After a short 2-3 block walk from the restaurant, Georgie, Patti, Bob, and I were at the Sovereign Center. Security was strict, but polite, and soon we were on our way to our floor section seats, which were nicely padded, even if we didn't get to sit much in them.. The Sovereign center is a state of the art arena, smaller than the First Union Arena in Phila, making it much more intimate. Also, much easier to go to and get out of. No huge traffic jams getting out, parking was $5.00, right next to the restaurant, and the drive time was about 45 mins. to an hour. And of course the main reason to be there....Kelly Coffey, Montgomery Gentry, & Kenny Chesney. What a combination and what a concert!!! Check out the pictures below from the show.
